In 2013, the following events took place:
April 15-18, the Mediterranean Center of the University of Granada.
“The temples of the Millions of Years in the West Bank of Thebes.” Conference which gathered the following directors and specialists of the archaeological missions of the great temples of the Theban Necropolis: Z. E. Szafranski (Hatshepsut), M. Seco (Thutmose III), A. Sesana (Amenhotep II), H. Sourouzian (Amenhotep III), R. Stadelmann (Seti I) and Ph. Martinez (Ramesses II). With the opening lecture of Mansour el-Boraik, representing the Antiquities Service of Egypt, and the following participation of members of the team working in the temple of Thutmose: Myriam Seco Álvarez (presentation of the temple and latest archaeological finds); Javier Martínez Babón (presentation of reliefs and inscriptions); Javier Melero Rus and Raúl Campos López (new technologies applied to the temple); Ricardo Marín Viadel and Asunción Jódar Miñarro (art-related studies pertaining to the temple).

“Activities of restoration and conservation of the Spanish archaeological missions in Egypt.” Members of the team who participated: Myriam Seco Álvarez (introduction about the work in the temple); Agustín Gamarra Campuzano (mud-brick structures of the temple); María Antonia Moreno Cifuentes and Inés García Martínez (documentation, conservation and restoration of fragments and objects).
July 8-11 at the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona.
“Research project of the temple of Millions of Years of Thutmose III in Luxor. “ Participating members of the team were: Myriam Seco Álvarez (presentation and advances made in the study of the temple and of the necropolis of previous periods); Javier Martínez Babón (advances in the study of iconographic elements); Agustín Gamarra Campuzano (new developments concerning the study of the mud-brick structures).
July 22-24 at the headquarters of the UIMP in Santander.
“The archaeological excavations of the temple of Millions of Years of Thutmose III, Luxor, Egypt.” In this conference participated as guests: Mansour el-Boraik, representing the antiquities services which spoke about new archaeological developments and Sebastién Biston-Moulin of the CFFTK who explained the French project of Karnak. Members of the working team of the temple of Thutmose III who participated in these workshops: Myriam Seco Álvarez (excavations in the temple and in the necropolis, as well as information technology management); Javier Martínez Babón (biography of the pharaoh and decorative aspects of the temple); María Antonia Moreno Cifuentes (conservation of the fragments and objects); Agustín Gamarra Campuzano (new developments concerning the mud-brick structures of the temple).
