Manuel González Bustos is graduated in Fine Arts by the University of Granada in 2007. He completed his academic training in the Superior Academy of Art of Bourges, France (Erasmus Program). He continued afterwards to develop his skills as graphic designer and in 2008 he undertook two internship programs, Argo and Eurodysea, in Brussels (Belgium), where he specialized in this area. As a complementary course he obtained the CAP course (Teaching Qualification) at the University of Granada. He obtained his Masters in Artistic Creation, Production and Dissemination from the University of Granada in 2011. He also fulfilled several courses related to the new technologies of the image. At the moment he is doing a PhD in the University of Granada, where he continues to carry out researches centred on the drawing and its application in the transdisciplinary creation.
Once his studies finished, he worked in Belgium and in the Martinique Island (France) in relation with the visual communication and teaching. From 2011 he centred his professional activity in the audio-visual sector and formed together with other two artists the artistic collective Retroproyect Studio with which he participates in many festival and artistic meetings. He is developing at the moment his professional activity independently as illustrator, graphic designer and audio-visual artist. At the same time, he works as an archaeological illustrator, photographer and graphic designer since 2011 in the Project of the Funerary Temple of Thutmosis III in Luxor, Egypt.
