ACADEMIC EDUCATION

Antonio has bachelors of Science, Geography and History specializing in Prehistory-University of Complutense, Madrid-Spain in 1982. He also studied Graphic Design and Applied Vector Drawing for Archaeology at the “Istituto Europeo di Design” Milán Italy In 1992. His scholarship was granted by the Castilla-La Mancha Industry and Tourism Council.

PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE

Antonio has worked as a technical Archaeologist and archaeological sketcher in diverse projects of investigation conducted by Prehistory and History of America Department (University of Alcala of Madrid)
; National Heritage Main Directorate (Culture Council of Castilla-La Mancha)
; Egyptology Department (National Archaeological Museum of Madrid), between 1980 and 2009:

- Archaeological Mission of Spain in Egypt: Great Heracleópolis (Ehnasya the Medina)

- Archaeological Mission of Spain in Mexico: Mayan city of Oxkintok

- Roman archaeological parks of Segóbriga (river basin) and Carranque (Toledo).

- Visigoths deposits of the Vega Baja and Cárcavas II (Toledo).

- Roman-medieval deposit of Entretorres (Toledo).

- Iberian deposits of the Cerro de los Santos (Albacete) and Castellones de Ceal (Jaen).

- Neolithic cave of the Sarsa (Valencia).

- Paleolithic caves of El Salitre and El Castillo (Santander).

Presently, Antonio works as a technical Archaeologist and archaeological sketcher at the excavations of the Funerary Temple of Thutmosis III, in Luxor-Egypt. He is a member of the Archaeological Mission of Spain in Egypt, conducting excavations in the city of " Heracleópolis Magna" in Ehnasya the Medina-Egypt. He is also the co-director of the Visigoths Deposits  from Cárcavas II excavations works in Toledo.
